Shabnam Riazi
Biography
After summering at the firm in 2017 and 2018, Shabnam is currently completing her articles at Levy Zavet PC, with a focus on Real Estate and Corporate Law. Shabnam recently graduated law school from the University of New Brunswick where she maintained a three year position on the Articling and Placement Committee, connecting students with law firms to aid in the development of networking skills, as well as securing summer and articling positions. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Guelph, where she graduated in 2013. Between her undergraduate studies and law school, Shabnam developed a background in real estate by working in administration and marketing at full service real estate brokerages in Toronto, which ultimately fueled her interest in residential real estate law. Throughout her years at the firm, her expertise have expanded into commercial real estate, private mortgages and corporate matters, as well as working with the firm’s marketing team.
